[Photo Story] Fish Out of Water exhibit debuted at July’s First Friday gathering - LebTown

Lebanon Valley Council of the Arts unveiled its Fish Out of Water exhibit during First Friday on July 3, and LebTown was there to capture the event.

The exhibit begins behind the Lebanon Community Library on 7th Street and spans the Veterans’ Memorial Walkway, ending behind “Boxie.” The new installation was officially debuted during the first First Friday event to be held since statewide stay-at-home orders were issued in March.

Local artists and makers were invited to design and paint the fish forms, which were available from LVCA for a $20 donation.

Nancy, along with sons Declan and Asher Soulliard, showcase some artistic goods during the event.

Local artist Katie Trainer also had a piece in the exhibit, “Go With the Flow.”

“Splat Studio” class piece by Niyanta, Mariyah, Izzy, Peyton, and Ava – titled “Learning to Think Like an Artist.”
“Splash” by Elise Stoner.
“Deep Blue” by Alex, Lucas, and Courtney Reimann.

Artists exhibiting in “Fish Out of Water” were invited to setup a table to show other artistic endeavors.

Vandon and Tanya of Lebanon’s Zen Cat Creatives showcase their art during the event.
As part of the event, musicians were found along each of the four blocks of the walkway. Here, Melissa Martin and Christy play violin for artwalk goers.

Ducks also made an appearance during the event running along the Quitty.
