BOISE, Idaho – Boise State Athletics and the BroncoLife program announced the launch of a new podcast series, "My Voice, My Story," on the Bronco Sports Podcast Network. Each episode is an opportunity to learn more about a Boise State student-athlete, in their own words. The series, presented by PacificSource Health Plans, is hosted by men's basketball assistant coach R-Jay Barsh.
The goal of the series is to provide a platform for Boise State student-athletes to share their stories of triumph and struggle on and off the field, humanizing them for Bronco Nation and showing that athletics is a part of who they are, not all of who they are.
Football student-athlete Donte Harrington is the guest on the first episode. Harrington, who grew up in a military family, shares experiences from his upbringing that have molded him into the young man and leader he is today.
The series premiere was published Tuesday (Oc. 19), in conjunction with the first day of the NCAA Diversity and Inclusion Social Media Campaign. The theme for day one of the program is "My Voice, My Platform: exploring student-athletes' identities, perspectives and experiences."
Boise State has committed to continue telling the stories of Bronco student-athletes beyond the NCAA's campaign through dedicated BroncoLife programming. BroncoLife is a department-wide initiative which encourages and empowers student-athletes to grow personally and professionally to prepare for life after sports.

About the Bronco Sports Podcast Network
The Bronco Sports Podcast Network is a collaborative project between the Boise State Athletics creative services team and Bronco Sports Properties. Many of the network's shows originate from Boise State's newly-established podcast studio housed in the athletic department.
