The New Jersey Storytelling Guild, in partnership with Montclair Music Studio and Watchung Booksellers, will be celebrating autumn with performances by Harvest Stories and music in Watchung Plaza on Saturday, Oct. 23 at 3 p.m.
The event is being produced by Marcia Almeida, a member of the Montclair Parks, Recreation and Cultural Affairs Advisory Committee.
The New Jersey Storytelling Guild was started by Gerald Fierst in 1988. With a membership of more than 40 storytellers from Northern and Central New Jersey, the group focuses on sharing traditional stories and myths through performances, workshops and events.
The event will feature New Jersey Guild storytellers Vicki Bryan, Somesh Chlabani, Paula Davidoff, Gerald Fierst, Shirley Johnson, Deinise McCrormack and Jack McKeo, with music by Dave Candido.
