We ask readers about preparing in advance or cleaning a house after the loss of a family member.
A Feb. 27 Real Estate article, “The Life-Affirming Comforts of ‘Death Cleaning,’” described how many people are now sorting through the clutter of their own possessions, or that of their parents, to avoid the daunting housecleaning task that family members can face after a death.
We’d like to hear from readers about their experiences, whether preparing in advance or cleaning a house after a loss: the discoveries, the emotions, the conflicts.
Submissions should be no more than 200 words. The deadline is Thursday, March 10, at 10 a.m., Eastern time.

Please include your name, city, state and contact information, and put “clutter” in the subject line.
