Moving to New York City often means sharing a living space with strangers. They can become friends or lovers, our guides to the city, sometimes our rivals. Our roommates can come from very different backgrounds, or be at different stages in life, or work and socialize in different worlds from our own.
The New York Times Magazine is interested in speaking with people who moved to New York during the pandemic and found themselves in a unique roommate situation. You may be featured in an upcoming project celebrating the happy (and sometimes unhappy) magic of living together.
