It’s not been a very fun year so far, has it? COVID-19, political squabbling and now, “murder hornets.” You could be forgiven for thinking the world is careening toward the end, but it’s not.
We assure you, it’s not.
That’s a thought that came to our mind when our staff began planning for this next issue of Austin Living magazine. We wanted to tell stories of featuring the positive, so that’s why we are looking for your help.
Families in Austin and the surrounding area are coming up with some truly unique and fun ways to pass the time during the lock-down that is COVID-19 and we want to highlight that positivity.
We want to share YOUR positivity and so we’re asking you to please send us your stories. Between 400-500 words, tell us anything you wish. How have your family and loved ones found some light during this time?
To go along with this, we will want to run a portrait with the stories. When you send us your submission, please include a way to contact you and we will work with you to take a portrait from the front of your house while we stand on the sidewalk or road.
Please take the time to help Austin Living Magazine tell stories of the light in Austin and our surrounding area. Submissions can be sent to Eric Johnson at photodesk@austindailyherald.com.
