Due to a surge in COVID-19 cases in Los Angeles, CBS has delayed filming of the second series of the Disney+ Original series, “Diary Of A Future President”.
Filming on the show had paused for the holidays and production was due to return on Monday 4th January, but the cast and crew will now resume work on the show on Friday 11th January.
Earlier this week, the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health urged TV and film productions to consider pausing work as COVID-19 cases have spiked and this is causing a strain on hospital capacities.
CBS has also delayed the return of filming on 4 other shows, NCIS, NCIS: Los Angeles, SEAL Team and Why Women Kill. Which will also all return to work on January 11th.
