Rays went down swinging, but Joey Wendle got a single!
5th Inning
Alex Bregman hit a casual grounder to Joey Wendle WHO THREW IT HIGH!
Ji-Man Choi make an aesthetically pleasing play and gets his foot down in time for the out.
Charlie Morton Finishes them off, and its still 3-0 Astros.
At the bottom of the inning, Rays run into some double plays, but now the Rays are on their 2nd Houston pitcher!
6th Inning
Charlie Morton has issued his first walk of the day, and works around it with a force out, but an infield hit by Altuve puts runners on 1st and 3rd with 1 out and Kevin Cash IS COMING OUT?!!
I think I hate this move.
AND HE’S BRINGING IN ANDERSON?!
Anderson got the out!!!
Rays opened the bottom of the inning with two on and nobody out! A sac fly moves Choi to 3rd base and Zunino hits a LONG FLY BALL TO DEEP LEFT FIELD. For an out. But it scores a run and Rays lead 4-0!
7th Inning
Anderson is out for the 7th inning and gave up back to back singles to Tucker and Bregman with 1 out.
ANDERSON GETS THE DOUBLE PLAY
RAYS STILL LEAD 4-0
8th Inning
Anderson back out? I don’t love it, I don’t hate it.
He walks the #9 hitter. Springer up to the plate. Springer grounds out! Altuve next with 2 outs. Even with a 4-0 lead I’m still nervous.
Altuve hits a grounder to Adames, who keeps it in the infield, but now their is 2 runners on, 2 outs and Michael Brantley at the plate.
Kevin Cash goes to Peter Fairbanks, and Fairbanks walks Brantley on 4 pitches. Bases loaded with Carlos Correa.
Correa singles and brings in 2. 4-2 Rays.
