Since May, the Netflix movie “The Noel Diary” starring Justin Hartley has been filming along the Connecticut shoreline, making stops in Stamford, New Canaan and Bridgeport and later filming in Madison and Essex.
This week, the holiday film brought its production to Southport. According to director of community and economic development for the town of Fairfield Mark Barnhart, the production crew set up at a private residence on 132 Center Street for the latest round of filming in Fairfield County, which came with a noticeable prop.
"[You] probably can't miss it with the fake snow," he said in an email.
While Barnhart said the Netflix production "should be wrapping up today" in Southport, "The Noel Diary" isn't the only movie filming in Connecticut. Hallmark movie "Sand Dollar Cove" starring Chad Michael Murray filmed in Mystic in April while Netflix murder thriller “The Good Nurse,” featuring Eddie Redmayne and Jessica Chastain, was filming in Stamford in March.
